We Believe in Building a Better Community by Volunteering & Donating Time

How we make a difference

If you have the ability you have the responsibility. On Point Moving believes that we all have a duty to make our community better for everyone. Whether it is volunteering as a team for Hands on San Diego, donating a free move to veterans in need or making partnerships with organizations in San Diego, On Point Moving is involved in bettering San Diego communities.

Our belief

On Point Moving believes we all have the opportunity to make a difference in our community. “If you have the ability, you have the responsibility” is what our team lives by. On Point Moving has a team with Hands On San Diego where we volunteer our time to different charity & community events.

Donating your time makes a more powerful impact on our local communities than simply donating money.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

On Point Moving – Gives Back

I Love a Clean San Diego

On Point Moving has been giving back to San Diego communities through participation in coastal clean-up days with I Love a Clean San Diego.

Over three hundred pounds of trash and recycling has been collected from San Diego’s bays and coastline. On Point Moving has volunteered to clean-up and beautify local community areas, like De Anza Cove Park.

Easter Baskets for Rady Children’s Hospital

On Point Moving volunteered its trucks and services to help deliver over 600 Easter baskets to Rady Children’s Hospital. This project was in conjunction with Thirty One Gifts, an amazing organization who donated the baskets for the kids.

Lilac Fire Evacuation

On Point Moving volunteered its trucks to help with the Lilac Fire evacuations and horse relocation at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, an event held by the 22nd District Agriculture Association

Paletts of water were brought in as well as food, hay for the horses, and other essentials for volunteers and evacuees alike.

San Diego Veterans

As a veteran owned business, we understand the importance to support the large veteran population in San Diego County. On Point Moving donates to Veterans News Network which supports local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) centers and benefits veterans living with PTSD by connecting them with the resources they need.

Free Veteran Moves

In addition to our work with Veterans News Network, we donate our time to offer one free move per month to a veteran in need. Many veterans benefited have been found through our partnership with Vets’ Community Connections. If you think you qualify for a free move and want to know more details contact us via email at:
